Meet The Doctors
Ann Ardovino, DMD, D-ABDSM
Dr. Ardovino started her dental education at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2008. After receiving her Doctorate, she completed a general practice residency at UAB Hospital and started her practice in Alabaster, Alabama. Over the years, Dr. Ardovino spent time furthering her studies at the Dawson Institute in St. Petersburg Florida where she received her fellowship in disorders of the TMJ, worn dentitions, and unbalanced bites.
After practicing dentistry for several years, Dr. Ardovino became increasingly aware that many of her patients were struggling with sleep apnea. She then started training with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine to better understand and treat her patients’ needs. She became a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, which is a distinctive honor that recognizes competency in dental sleep medicine.
Dr. Ardovino is a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry, The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, The American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, Dawson Academy Alumni and is active in local and regional study clubs.
Kelli Albritton, DMD
Dr. Albritton was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida and attended the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine. Dr. Albritton has been practicing general dentistry since 2008 educating her patients about the importance of oral health.
Dr. Albritton has a passion for helping patients alleviate tension and pain associated with TMJ and bruxism with the use of Botox and other treatment methods including splints and red-light therapy. Research has show that bruxism and sleep apnea may be correlated in certain situations.
Dr. Albritton is a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and has trained through the Mastery Program with The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Albritton continues her training and education so she can help her patients.
